Mimi Counselling Services

Welcome to the new you

Welcome, and thank you for visiting. My name is Mariam and I am a Milton Keynes-based counsellor providing remote therapy throughout the UK via online and telephone.

Counselling in a safe, comfortable and private setting

In addition to being a qualified counsellor, I am also a fully registered general Nurse in the NHS. I have a clinical background that covers various specialities including mental health. I became a counsellor with the passion to support clients on their journey. It takes a lot of courage to go for counselling, I can relate. I have experience in working with a diverse population and offer an integrative approach to counselling.

I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression and other areas. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to help you discover the unique YOU.

I work mainly with adults who struggle with everyday life stressors such as financial concerns, relationship struggles, family issues, medical concerns, job concerns, or other concerns. I believe my background as a clinician with experience in mental health will give you the added advantage to understand you from all angles. I work collaboratively with you to experiment with new behaviours and approaches to enable you to build a life that is meaningful to you – a life of which you are proud. You deserve the time and investment in yourself. I look forward to connecting with you!

Speak in Confidence

Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement. In the therapy space thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.

A problem shared...

Trouble with a relationship; anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings or depression - many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of. Counselling gives us a set of tools we can use to help gain a better understanding of what’s causing these problems - and how you can move towards managing or resolving them.
